Abstract

This paper explores female entrepreneurs' challenges in the creative sector and outlines strategies for overcoming these barriers to achieve long-term success. It identifies significant economic, social, cultural, structural, and institutional obstacles, including financial constraints, gender discrimination, and lack of supportive policies. The proposed strategies emphasize alternative funding sources, financial literacy, networking, mentorship, supportive policies, and targeted education and training programs. The implications for policy and practice highlight the need for comprehensive support structures to empower female entrepreneurs. Future research directions include the impact of specific policies, the role of technology, the intersectionality of barriers, and longitudinal studies on entrepreneurial progress.
