Exploring Bilhana's Contributions to Indian Historiography


Abstract

This study explores the contributions of Bilhana, a medieval Indian writer, to the tradition of historical writing in India. Bilhana was a poet and historian who lived in the 11th century and is known for his works in Sanskrit literature. The study aims to evaluate Bilhana's historical narratives, examine his sources and methods, and analyze his impact on the development of Indian historiography.
