Abstract

located in the coastal belt of Balochistan near the Arabian sea. The investigation is made on recorded wind speed data taken from the Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) at four different timings during the day and night for the period of 4 years from 2016 – 2019. Data is observed on the basis of monthly, annual, and seasonal variations. Comparison of two methods of Weibull probability distribution is analysed and the shape parameter k and the scale parameter c are two Weibull parameters that characterise this distribution and are used to fit data in Weibull distribution.
