CdS nanoparticles were fabricated at temperatures 70℃ by employing co-precipitation method where cadmium acetate and sodium sulphide were uses as precursors. Different properties of synthesized material were explored by using sophisticated instruments. The UV-Visible spectroscopy explored the optical properties of nanoparticles. The UV-visible spectrum showed characteristic peak for CdS at 521 nm. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) indicated the crystalline nature of the nanoparticles and Energy Dispersive X-ray Analysis (EDAX) was used to know the composition of prepared material.
