Studies on the taxonomy of predatory mites of genus Acaropsis (Acarina: Cheyletidae) were conducted at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad during 1999, These mites are of great importance predating upon the mites of stored grain, stored food products, stored vegetables and dried fruits, During these studies, two new species of genus Acaropsis viz. Acaropsis sigilla and Acaropsis unicus were described from Pakistan. [n addition, a new host and locality of an old species Acaropsis vitrus have been discovered. A comprehensive key to 20 species after including these two new species described so far from Pakistan, has been prepared.
