Abstract

This paper deals with the survey and documentation of archaeological sites, carried out from 2013 to 2017, in the Sirsinai and Galoch villages of Nikpi Khel on the right bank of River Swat1 . During the survey fifty six archaeological sites, not known previously, were documented. Some of the sites are in a bad state, while the others can yield sufficient material for the reconstruction of the archaeological profile of the Swat valley. However, all these sites are under serious threat of human vandalism because of their location in private property. An attempt has been made here to highlight the significance of some of the newly documented sites in the village of Sirsinai and Galoch of Tehsil Kabal.
