Abstract

Triboelectric nanogenerators have become popular as mechanical energy harvesters because they can convert small magnitude mechanical energy like vibration, running and walking, into electrical energy. TENGs are small in size, flexible and low cost therefore, they have received attention in various fields. Demand of textile based TENGs have also increased in the field of wearable electronics and health monitoring systems. In this research a textile based TENG with free standing mode is fabricated which is compatible in biomedical applications. Output voltage and current were measured 148V and 1.4μA respectively.
