Objectives: This study intended to evaluate the predictive association of social support with happiness, self-esteem, and health-conscious awareness. Social support was hypothesized to predict self-esteem, personal happiness, and health-conscious awareness.
Sample and Method: The study sample was collected from the University of Karachi and consisted of N=96 participants (n=47 male, n=49 female) aged 18 – 29 (M = 20.95, SD = 2.54).
Design of the study: The study is quantitative correlational with a convenient sampling technique,
Place and Duration of Study: The study duration was 6 months, and the place of study was the University of Karachi.
Results and Conclusion: The results revealed that social support predicted happiness and health-conscious awareness. Additionally, the study found a difference between males and females in self-esteem and social support and proposed its implications.
