Abstract

The study aimed to prepare an educational curriculum using the intensive exercise method and to know its effect on developing some motor abilities and some biomechanical variables for performing the sending skill among badminton players. The researcher assumed that there were statistically significant differences between the results of the pre- and post-tests of the control and experimental groups, and that there were statistically significant differences between the control and experimental groups in the post-test in the variables under study, and that there was a significant correlation between motor ability and some bio kinematic variables. The research sample included 8 players from the Iraqi youth badminton team, and they were divided into two groups, a control and an experimental group, each consisting of 4 players. The researcher used the experimental method, and concluded the effectiveness of the educational program using the intensive training method in developing some motor abilities and biomechanical variables to reach the ideal performance of the badminton sending skill.
