The current study includes an introduction to the key characteristics of modern sports, emphasizing that they are not merely isolated routine processes or skills but rather systematic structures that are closely interconnected, ultimately forming a cohesive framework. The fundamental building blocks of this framework are the mathematical concepts, which are developed through discovery and scientific thinking. The research problem is summarized by establishing the foundations and concepts of a model for teaching by reconstructing mathematical concepts into conceptual systems. It also examines the learners' ability to acquire mathematical concepts and apply them in constructing mathematical knowledge by connecting the learners' prior experiences with the curriculum designed by the researchers. The study aimed to develop a model based on the Yager approach to enhance motivation and learn some badminton skills for first-year students. It also sought to identify the impact of using this model on the development of motivation and the learning of certain badminton skills among first-year students. The researchers hypothesized that this model would have a positive effect on the development of motivation and the learning of some badminton skills for first-year students. The second chapter addressed the theoretical material related to the research variables. The field research procedures were summarized by preparing a motivation scale, skill tests, and exercises based on the Yager model. After conducting field tests that followed the exploratory experiment and performing equivalence for the research sample, the researchers collected and statistically processed the data using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results indicated that the Yager model had a positive impact on the development of learning motivation and badminton skills among students. The researchers also recommended emphasizing the importance of using the Yager model in learning fundamental skills for other activities and enhancing motivation in the sports field. The research procedures involved dividing the research sample, consisting of 48 students, into two groups (control and experimental). The first group (experimental) was made up of 24 students following the Yager model, while the second group (control) included 24 students following the traditional curriculum. The number of educational units was set at 2 units per week for a duration of 8 weeks, totalling 16 educational units, with each unit lasting 90 minutes.
