Abstract

Learning any skill requires determinants, the most important of which is the presentation method of the skill because performing and implementing the skill requires the student to perform this skill repeatedly until it reaches automaticity (mechanism) by monitoring his movements and analyzing them with the teacher or analyzing those skills himself. The research problem is that most teachers use verbal means in most cases to present direct and indirect skills to their players. In many of these cases, the nature of the angles achieved when applying tennis skills is not emphasized. The researcher believes that presenting the skill in the usual slow way will contribute to achieving good results and enhancing the state of training and learning when applying the forehand and backhand ground stroke skills in tennis. The research aimed to identify the effect of the usual and slow presentation style according to some biomechanic variables in developing the level of performance of the forehand and backhand ground stroke skill in tennis. The researcher concluded the usual and slow presentation style contributed to developing the experimental group members' sense of their movements when the forehand and backhand strokes and gave positive feedback on their performance development.
