Abstract

The importance of research is evident in the use of muscular power exercises alongside other modern exercises. This exercise combines traditional agility training and perceptual abilities at the same time by using some training methods and tools. To improve responsiveness and motor coordination for their basic and essential role in performing complex skills (reception - passing in multiple directions). To prepare a player who can achieve successful results in competition. For young football players, the study examined the effects of muscular power exercises and reactive agility exercises on motor coordination and complex skills (reception - passing in multiple directions). The researchers used the experimental method, followed the experimental, and control group design. This study was conducted on the youth of Wasit Governorate clubs participating in the governorate league for the season (2022-2023) at the age of (17-19); the sample contains (20) players divided into (10 players per group). Muscular power training and reactive agility training prepared by the researchers were applied to the experimental group for (8) weeks, with (3) training units per week. After completion, post-tests were conducted and statistical data were processed using the spss system. According to the researchers, exercising muscular power and interactive agility helped young football players develop a speed of response, motor coordination, and skill (reception - pass in multiple directions).
