Abstract

The researchers discussed the scientific and technological progress that characterizes this era in all aspects of life, as well as the role and importance of realizing the distance and performing the skill of the eight-rotation of the rope tool in rhythmic gymnastics. The study sought to determine:
- Recognizing distance awareness and performing rope instrument eight rotation skills (Fig. 8) in rhythmic gymnastics for 3rd-grade girls. - Karbala University of Physical Education and Sport Sciences.
- Determining the relationship between distance perception and performance of her eight rotation skills (Fig. 8) on a rope instrument in rhythmic gymnastics for her third-year female students - College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, Karbala.
- Determining the contribution rate of distance perception and the performance of the ability of the 8 curves (Fig. 8) Third Grade Rhythmic Gymnastics Rope Instruments - Karbala College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences.
The researchers followed the descriptive approach by using the survey method, correlational studies, and the percentage of contribution to achieve the objectives of the research and test its hypothesis. The research community also included third-stage female students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Karbala for the academic year (2021-2022), and the research sample was chosen by the students. After analyzing the data and studying the relationship between the variables, conclusions were reached about a positive correlation between the perception of distance and skill performance in rhythmic gymnastics using the octagonal figure (Fig. 8) of the rope tool among third-stage students at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences University Karbala.
