Abstract

The research aims to develop field mental exercises and determine their influence on futsal players' tactical behavior, as well as to determine the preference for field mental exercises and the technique employed by the coach in futsal players' tactical conduct. The experimental technique was employed with two experimental and control groups, and the research community comprised players from the University of Babylon futsal team for the academic year (2021-2022), who were separated equally into two experimental and control groups. The researcher conducted a videotaping of three experimental matches between University of Babylon futsal teams and presented it to experts and specialists in futsal to evaluate their tactical positions. They used the evaluation form prepared for this purpose and used SPSS statistical software to process the results. From the results of the study, it was found that the experimental group was more effective in terms of mental exercises in terms of tactical behavior, while the control group was less effective. The researcher urged the need for more studies in this area on all players in different sports and across all age groups.
