Abstract

The research problem was embodied that there are no referee exercises that are consistent with the reality of the game and its development, so the researcher used a set of exercises to determine the state of the referees, so the research objectives came as follows:
1- Identifying the effect of (3po-iot) exercises by means of assisting in developing the arbitration mechanism of basketball referees.
The researcher used the experimental approach by designing (the control and experimental groups) due to its suitability to the nature and problem of the research. The researcher identified the research community with basketball referees in Iraq who participated in the arbitration of the Iraqi Basketball Federation competitions for the 2022-2023 sports season in all international groups, first class, second class, age group referees. The researcher relied on the archives of the Iraqi Central Basketball Federation to determine the number of referees and their regions. The Baghdad rulers chose a control group, while the Hilla rulers were an experimental group.
Several conclusions, the most important of which are the following:
In the light of the findings of the current research, and the subsequent explanations, the researcher can come out with several conclusions as follows:
1- The exercises with auxiliary means according to (3po-iot) have a significant impact on the development of the arbitration mechanism for basketball referees in Iraq.
Recommendations:
In light of the research results and conclusions, the current research reached the most important recommendations, which were as follows:
1- Benefiting from exercises by means of assistance according to (3po-iot) in developing basketball referees.
2- The necessity of holding arbitration and training courses for referees, especially the first, second and third degrees, and applying tests to them before the sports season.
