Abstract

The curriculum dramatization technique is one of the active learning strategies, and it is one of the current ways in education, as it employs theater to aid in teaching and educating pupils, and it converts the classroom into a dramatic hall. The significance of the study is in the use of a current method in the process of boosting performance motivation in artistic gymnastics, namely the strategy of dramatizing the curriculum. The research objectives were set to develop a metric for motivating motor performance in artistic gymnastics for pupils. And understanding the role of performance motivation in artistic gymnastics learning. The researcher used a descriptive technique, creating two equal groups with pre and post tests on the main study sample of (90) kids from Al-Nisour Primary Private School, and the main sample was divided into two groups, each with (20) students. The experimental group employed the curriculum dramatization learning strategy, whereas the control group used the subject teacher's teaching method. The equivalence process was carried out in the pre-tests for the motivation of motor performance in the artistic gymnastics of the students, followed by the implementation of the vocabulary of dramatizing the curricula on the experimental group over a period of (8) weeks and at a rate of two educational units per week. As a result, the total number of units reached (16), and the instructional unit lasted (40) minutes. Following the completion of the application of the vocabulary of this learning, post-tests were administered to the control and experimental study groups, under the identical conditions and circumstances as the pre-tests, and after the findings were extracted and processed statistically. The study came to a number of findings, the most significant of which is (that the preparation of a measure for the motivation of motor performance in artistic gymnastics for students achieved the desired goal). Based on these findings, the researcher made many recommendations, the most significant of which are (the adoption of a motor performance motivation measure designed to identify the nature of this variable among students on a regular and continuous basis). (The Ministry of Education uses tales and plays to prepare school curriculum while keeping technical and pedagogical standards in mind. (The necessity of emphasizing the dramatic approach as a new way of teaching with several benefits for enhancing learning motivation).
