Abstract

The contemporary period is witnessing the growth of worldwide interest in brain research outputs, as well as the subsequent emergence of a succession of huge breakthroughs in this subject. This period of scientific and cognitive growth causes the educational process to move from the simple scientific acquisition of information and assessing the learner on the extent to which he recalls this level of capacity to acquire knowledge to self-research. In addition, the use of knowledge within the confines of structured practical application. As a result, we must aim to shift the educational process from knowledge collection to information comprehension and analysis. The significance of the research was clear in determining the influence of the educational curriculum based on the information processing approach on students acquiring the skill of Arab leap on the carpet of ground motions. The researcher employed an experimental design with equal groups on a sample of (30) students from the third stage in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, chosen at random from among (150) students in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The researcher concluded through statistical treatments that the educational curriculum based on the information processing technique is critical in acquiring the skill under study. The skill exercises under investigation significantly influenced the development of mental capacities, which aided in the growth of the experimental group. Repetition in the performance of skill exercises and the technique used aided in the process of acquiring the skill under investigation. The researcher recommended the use of the educational curriculum prepared as it proved effective in the current study in learning the skill of the Arab jump on the mat of ground movements for students. And attention to exercises that consider the mental abilities and age stage of the sample in learning other skills and other games.
