Abstract

Abstract: Within the scope of the stronger review carried out by contemporary philosophical thought towards the disappointing outcomes of the modernist mentality of knowledge, sciences, and scientific and philosophical systems, it was subjected to the steps of the experimental method that controlled the course of epistemology, as the optimal method. As for philosophies, they witnessed a sterile methodological conflict. We evoke the critical vision of “Edmund Husserl”, so his author, tagged with: “the crisis of European sciences and transcendental phenomenology”, came as a vivid example of his opposing position on the method used, which represents the basis of empirical sciences to extend and include the human sciences. The crisis, then, is a crisis of method, followed, of course, by an epistemological crisis, and from it invoking the phenomenological method to solve this crisis, resurrect the reefs of meaning and seek to realize the essence. The main objective of this research paper is to confirm that the crisis of method, which constituted an occasion for philosophizing, is closely related to the philosopher, and history has recorded its continuous presence, and to show the dual philosophical work of criticism and construction, and to highlight the valuable contributions of Husserl in the field of philosophical methods. As for the methodological tools that we relied on, they are prominent in the analytical approach, the critical approach, and the activation of the approach in referring to some philosophical positions other than “husserl’s”. we have reached a number of important results, which are: the closely related relationship between philosophy and the crisis of the method, the method as a cause of the crisis and as a key to its solution, as a fertile field for critical thinking and analysis. The constant philosophical preoccupation whith criticism and construction, as a distinct methodology that indicates that philosophy develops solutions and does not suffice to raise problems. In addition to the emergence of the phenomenological method as one of the most important contemporary philosophical methods, which “Husserl” guided for beign the most optimal method for solving the crisis, recovering the lost and searching for the essence.
