This aim of the current study was to explore the resilience among Rescue 1122 workers in Pakistan focusing on the psychological organizational and operational factors that enable them to perform effectively under extreme stress. Through our qualitative descriptive approach data were collected by in-depth interviews with paramedics, firefighters and rescue technicians across multiple locations. Thematic analysis revealed core themes including emotional regulation, structured decision-making, organizational support, coping strategies and the impact of situational challenges on mental health. Participants highlighted the importance of inclusive training, adaptive communication protocols and teamwork in nurturing resilience. The findings suggested that both individual attributes such as emotional intelligence and self-care and systemic support such as mental health interventions and continuous skill development play essential roles in increasing the resilience of emergency responders. This research according to the understanding of resilience in high stressed professions and offers practical insights for solidifying emergency response frameworks in developing countries.
