Abstract

Dr. Qasim Jalal, is a renowned Siraiki and Urdu poet. He is a well-known Siraiki critic. His prose work is also appreciated. He is a multi-dimensional writer. This article throws light on his abilities as a translator. He translated the book of Khalil Jibran, “The Prophet”. This translation has a nice quality. This brought the Siraiki reader, very near, to the international literature. This article also tells the importance of translation. The article contains the Siraiki translation made by Qasim Jalal. This Siraiki has also been translated into Urdu, by me. Hope this article will explain the importance of Dr. Qasim Jalal’s work.
