Abstract

Basically ,the short stories are the part of literature that  are used to describe the brief ,fictional ,narrative type of prose that involves confilt, character ,a situation and a setting where the main character faces a lot of problems or happiness or any other situation . Like other stories Eveline is also one. In this short story A 18 year girl is main character. The short story revolves around her life. That story has been written by famous writer James Joyce. For the analysis of the any short story mostly the Roland Barthes and A. J. Griemas are used. In this story narrative structure model also used. After using narrative structure models. The conclusion has been given. That what kind of knowledge, information given for what purpose it has given. Why it should be done. Is there any other kind of knowledge information that we can until use for the proper understanding of it. But we can also say that this may be used to change the situation properly or for the critical analysis of any kind of information that whether it is wrong or right. In which situation it has been written or the time period which describe the situation .Keeping in view the Roland Barthes and A.J. Griemas narrative structure models. Each and every model has been used according to their rules and regulations that were the part of any short story and has been clear so that each and every reader this short story can be able to understand the basic ideas of the short story should be clear and also provide the basic knowledge so that one can be able to learn the basic concept of any short story.
