Abstract

This article explores the Quranic perspective on the relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims, analyzing the various verses that address interfaith interactions. The Quran, while emphasizing the importance of faith in Islam, also provides guidance on maintaining peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and justice in dealings with non-Muslims. Through a thematic analysis, the study categorizes the Quranic verses into key areas such as tolerance, respect, social cooperation, and religious freedom. The paper examines the context of these verses, discussing both the historical circumstances of revelation and the broader moral principles intended for timeless application. It also addresses common misconceptions and misinterpretations about the Quranic stance on non-Muslims, focusing on the balance between faith preservation and promoting harmonious interfaith relations. Ultimately, this analysis aims to offer a deeper understanding of how the Quran encourages Muslims to engage with non-Muslims in a way that is rooted in ethical conduct and mutual benefit.
