Abstract

This article explores Asbab-al-Nuzul (occasions of revelation) of selected verses from Surah Al-A'raf, focusing on the authentication and verification of the relevant hadiths. It examines the historical and situational contexts in which these verses were revealed, drawing upon classical hadith sources to trace their chains of transmission and assess their authenticity. By critically analyzing the narrations and their backgrounds, the study sheds light on the socio-religious circumstances that prompted specific revelations, offering deeper insight into the Qur'anic message. This research contributes to the fields of Qur’anic exegesis and Hadith studies by providing a scholarly framework for understanding the interplay between revelation and historical context.
