Abstract

The aim of the study was to explore the role of Mindfulness in the relationship between Social comparison Tendencies and  Relationship Quality Among Married Individuals In this study, correlational cross sectional research design was used. Purposive sampling technique was used to collect the data. The sample included N=328 participants i.e.; male N=170, female N=158 married individuals with age range 20 to 50 years. Results showed that social comparison tendencies and relationship quality among married individuals  are significantly positively correlated. The relationship quality and mindfulness among married individuals are also positively correlated. There are also significant genders differences between married individuals  in relation to social comparison tendencies, mindfulness and relationship quality. The research’s overall findings have contributed to knowledge about how social comparison tendencies and mindfulness  impact married individuals' relationship quality.
