Abstract

The study examines the Relationship of Reading Interest and Self-Regulated Learning at the level of graduation. It offers a study of the comparison between arts and science students. As education has evolved and new skills have emerged along with novel techniques to promote and improve learning at the students’ level, some skills like self-regulation and reading out have become vital. The purpose of the study is to outline if students use these skills and if there is any relationship between them. The nature of the study was quantitative. The population of the study comprise of all the graduation students of various universities of Sahiwal district. The population of the study were students from Okara University, Sahiwal University and BZU Multan. Data was gathered from the participants through convenient sampling method. The survey technique was employed to gather data from the respondents. The research revealed a significant correlation between reading skills and self-regulated learning . It was discovered that arts student demonstrate comparatively greater reading interest and self-regulated skills  to their science counterparts.
