This study transitioning from time based assessment to skill based assessment: a case study of Lasbela University, Balochistan, Pakistan. Aim to provide valuable insights and best practices for other institutions seeking to make a similar transition. The study emphasizes the process of implementing skill-based assessment at Lasbela University, guided by the principles of TGI (Targeted Growth Initiative), which emphasize the importance of targeted skill development and growth and also Highlighting the challenges, strategies, and outcomes of this educational innovation. Ultimately, this research aims to ensure that both faculty and students are better equipped to navigate this transition, leading to more effective and equitable assessment practices in the future.
