Abstract

This research paper is concerned with relationship of history, arts, crafts, design and architecture. The research is designed to understand the visual construction of surface decoration of monuments through Kashikari art in Sindh. The study is based on the historical perspective of works and contribution of the artisans in relationship of culture and concepts of surface decoration. The aim of research is to trace uniqueness of the Kashikari art in Sindh with reference to other important monuments built in the subcontinent.
