Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are a prevalent healthconcern globally, and their incidence isdisproportionately higher among individuals withobesity. Obesity increases the likelihood of UTIs due to arange of physiological, immunological, and behaviouralfactors. This article explores the relationship betweenobesity and UTIs while emphasizing evidence-basedlifestyle changes to lower this risk. The discussion includesstrategies such as weight management, dietary changes,increased physical activity, proper hydration, andbehavioural adjustments as vital steps for reducing UTIprevalence in obese individuals.
