Abstract

This research looks at how the internal and emotional struggles of the third gender are portrayed in Urdu poetry, specifically in Sabir Zafar's book Khazana Hi Gham Dahar Ke Faqir. The study analyzes themes such as identity, isolation, and social exclusion in Zafar’s poetry, focusing on how the poet expresses the psychological challenges faced by the third gender. It also examines Zafar's use of language, symbols, and metaphors to show the complexity of self-identity and the search for acceptance, offering a deeper understanding of gender diversity in Urdu literature.
