Abstract

The Fourier transform method has been utilized to analysis line profile broadening and root mean square strain of cold worked and annealed 70-30 ? brass. The crystallite size obtained from cold worked fillings are found small as compared to that of annealed specimen. Where as the root-mean square strain obtained from cold worked specimen are found little higher than annealed specimen.
