Abstract

Superstition is a major societal issue that cannot be denied.Today, Muslims seem to suffer from superstitions, anxiety, panic and anger in one way or another. Superstition is a disease that the patient fears everything and associates his profit and loss with it. Their forms have changed with the changing times but they are still present in large numbers all over the world. People of Pakistan (Muzaffarabad Azad Kashmir) despite being a Muslim state are victims of these atrocities.So superstition is dangerous for man in every sense.The needof the hour is to deal with superstition and restructure our lives on the teaching of Holy Quran and Hadith. Islamic teachings is training of a person through which a pious person can be made in such a manner that he can get rid offnegative tendencies and desires through which he can devote himself to Allah Almighty in true sense. Through Islamic teachings the effects of superstition on society and domestic life can be eliminated.
