Outer space has decomposed on to being a strategic frontier, which has heightened geopolitical relations in the Asian continent; especially between India and China. Both nations have already advanced to a considerable extent in their own space programs, with plans that include scientific exploration, technology as well as national security. The emerging India-China competition in space has significant implications to other countries especially Pakistan. The present paper discusses the multidimensional space power rivalry between India and China in the sense of exploring their space experience, space policies and strategic goals. In addition, it focuses on the effects of this rivalry on the Pakistan space policy and defense calculus. The paper will give a historical background of each country space program, compare technological development and also talk of the military and diplomatic aspects of space race. The study sums up by presenting possible policy reaction and measures that Pakistan may take to enhance its space positions in the widely changing regional space order.
