Present study examined the moderating effect of positive emotions between emotional regulation and expressive behaviour among young adults of Riphah International University Faisalabad Campus and University of Sargodha. Data was collected from 300 boys and girls through emotional regulation Scale (Gross & John, 2003), positive and negative affect schedule (Waston et al., 1988), and emotional expressivity scale (Barchard, 2001). To achieve objectives multiple statistical analyses were conducted descriptive statistics, reliability analyses, simple regression and Pearson correlation of variables and moderation analysis. The results revealed that all variables are significantly correlated with each other’s. Positive emotions moderated between emotional regulation and emotional expressivity. Awareness of emotions helps to manage and regulate the emotions according to situations therefore emotional regulation is play very important role in expressing the positive and negative emotions that are socially acceptable.
