Technical and Vocational education be carried out to help society move towards career productivity, without skills, knowledgeable and efficient students that cannot meet the varying needs of its environment. Technical and Vocational education has been a basic piece of national advancement because of its effect on profitability and financial improvement. The economic growth of developing states, announces Technical and Vocational education as a key factor. It is normally laid out on the grounds that the variety of instruction that emphasizes the applying of aptitudes, information, and states of mind required for work in an exceedingly unequivocal occupation any field of social and financial action.
The present world and learning focused society should be value based, focused on the regard for mankind, human poise, and work as a supply of self-realization and self-smugness, monetary and social advancement.
This current study addresses the students’ views of Technical and Vocational education for career productivity. The main objective of this study is to find out the impact of Technical and Vocational education on career productivity. The scope of this study is limited to Technical colleges and Vocational centers students’. The population of the students was large and diverse therefore random sampling design was adopted. The overall sample size of students was one hundred and fifty, selected through convenience sampling design.
A questionnaire was adapted from Bandura self-efficacy scale for students. Data was collected through questionnaire distribution and analyzed through SPSS. On the basis of the ANOVA results, the overall model is significant. The hypothesis is rejected and on the basis of regression analysis, it is found that there is a significant impact of Technical and Vocational career productivity. It is recommended that Government should initiate policy and training programs for teachers and students’ career productivity, and it is also recommended that concerned authority should introduce an internship program for students’ better understanding of theoretical work into practical work.
