The importance of the research was represented in preparing educational units for freestyle swimming according to the Dalton and Harbert models for students and knowing the effect of the Dalton model and the Harbert model on acquiring the skill performance of freestyle swimming for students. The problem of the research was represented in the difficulty of learning the skill performance of swimming by students and the lack of use of modern educational models by teachers in teaching swimming to students. While the objectives of the research were to identify the effect of Dalton's model and Harbert's model on acquiring the skill performance of freestyle swimming for students. Also, to prepare educational units for freestyle swimming according to Dalton's and Harbert's models for students. The researchers adopted the experimental method with two experimental groups, in accordance with the requirements of solving the research problem, as the researchers adopted the experimental research method. The researchers recommend the use of modern educational models in order to achieve the best results and to get rid of traditional methods that focus on the teacher and do not allow the student to be part of the educational process and express his opinion
