Abstract

The research aims to prepare exercises in the Superset style to develop some types of strength (explosive power and strength characterized by speed), and to perform the snatch lift for lifters aged (15-17) years, and to identify the effect of exercises in the Superset method to develop some types of strength (explosive ability and strength characterized by speed), and to accomplish The snatch lift to single out the research sample. To achieve the research objectives, tthe experimental method., The research population included all youth players under the age of 20 from Baghdad-based Iraqi clubs, totaling 16 clubs with 430 players, representing 100% of the targeted populationو The research sample was randomly selected using a lottery method and consisted of 26 players from Al-Sinaa Sports Club (6.05% of the total population). Goalkeepers (4 players) and those who were injured or failed to comply with the training program (4 players) were excluded from the sampleو Pre-tests and post-tests were administered to the sample, and appropriate statistical analyses were conducted,The researchers concluded that plyometric exercises implemented using the Superset method significantly improved the muscular capabilities of the sample. This enhancement was reflected in the development of explosive power and strength characterized by speed in the lower limbs. Moreover, the improvement in specific strength types had a positive impact on the performance of the snatch lift among the research participants. Additionally, plyometric exercises using the Superset method contributed to increasing the level of competitive drive among participants, which also led to positive outcomesThe researchers recommend that coaches pay attention to using the Superset method in order to develop the physical qualities of players in other team or individual games and for different categories, and choose plyometric exercises similar to skill performance in the game to benefit from them in developing special skills in the game, and the need for those concerned with the game to pay attention to holding training courses on using the method. Superset for coaches working in the game and for different age groups
