Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of the cluster umbrella strategy on the achievement and development of harmonious thinking among fourth-grade literary students in Islamic education. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher followed the experimental method procedures and randomly selected the Arab Heritage Secondary School for Boys, which includes two sections for the fourth-grade literary class. Section (A) represented the experimental group that studied according to the cluster umbrella strategy, and Section (B) represented the control group that studied according to the traditional method. The researcher prepared a test to measure harmonious thinking and a test for post-achievement. The researcher used the following statistical methods: the second test for two independent samples, the second test for two related samples, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. After statistically analysing the results, the researcher concluded that there were statistically significant differences at a significance level of 0.05 between the average scores of the students of the two research groups in the post-compatible thinking test, in favour of the experimental group. Based on the results obtained by the researcher, several recommendations and suggestions were presented.
