The present study offers a scholarly and analytical exploration of the introduction and significance of Fiqh, Seerah, and Fiqh ul-Seerah. It begins by defining the linguistic meaning of Fiqh, deep understanding, intelligence, insight, and clarification, supported by evidence from the Qur’an, Hadith, and examples from classical Arabic literature. In its technical sense, Fiqh refers to the knowledge of the practical rulings of the Shariah derived from detailed evidences, encompassing not only acts of worship and transactions but also the ethical and legal structure of both individual and society. The paper then explains the linguistic meaning of Seerah, a path, way of life, or a comprehensive account of a person’s life. Technically, Seerah denotes the detailed and purposeful study of the blessed life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), based on the Qur’an, Sunnah, historical narrations, and practical events. Fiqh ul-Seerah is presented in this work as a distinct and integrated discipline that goes beyond narrating the events of the Prophet’s life. It derives legal principles, Shariah rulings, strategic approaches to Da‘wah, and guidance for societal conduct from the Seerah. Its aim is to provide actionable and contextually adaptable guidance drawn from the Prophetic biography. The study emphasizes that Fiqh ul-Seerah holds not only academic significance in contemporary times but also serves as a vital resource for practical life, especially in the fields of Da‘wah, education, leadership, and guidance for Muslim minorities. It concludes that the study of Seerah is not merely the recounting of historical events, but a comprehensive and timeless curriculum for life.
