Abstract

This book is a good sociological and cultural study of infrastructure boom unfolding in China that aims to add another 300 million people to urban areas by 2030. It may not be considered as an authoritative text on urban and economic development, yet it debunks many myths about China�s so called Ghost Cities. In summary, the book not only elaborates on the urban transformation in China, but also highlights what has been missed.
