Poguli is spoken in the Pogal-Paristan area ofdistrict Ramban in the state of Jammu andKashmir. Poguli shows interesting andsignificant variations from Kashmiri inphonology, morphology and vocabulary butlinguistic research on these aspects of thedialect of Kashmiri is inadequate andfragmentary. The present paper attempts tostudy Poguli based on its morphologicaldescription. The study includes the descriptionof postpositions in Poguli and gives a completeaccount of different functions which occur inthe postpositional description. The findingsrevealed that postpositions follow nouns orpronouns, and mark grammatical functions,location, movement or extent in space and timein Poguli.
