Abstract

The study investigates the impact of coaching leadership styles on project success, with the mediating role of team empowerment and project success among IT project organizations in Pakistan. Quantitative methodology was used. It also emphasizes the study of measurement and instrumental reliability analysis. Scales were used for Coaching Leadership, Project Success, Team Communication, and team empowerment. Data from this study were collected from employees working in an IT project-based organization. A convenience sampling technique was used, and the nature of full confidentiality and participation was voluntary. Based on convenience sampling, an appropriate number of questionnaires based on the population size was distributed among the different IT project-based organizations. For data analysis, IBM SPSS-25 and Smart-PLS-4 statistical packages were used. The study offered one of the earliest endeavors to establish the hypothesized framework. This study aims to assess the impact of coaching leadership style on project success in the project organization of Pakistan. This study also focused on the role of team communication and team empowerment in the association of coaching leadership and project success. Results showed a significant positive association between coaching leadership and project success. A partial mediation of team communication and team empowerment exists in the relationship between coaching leadership and project success. Project managers should be required to exhibit superior coaching leadership characteristics to manage their subordinates in team communication, and team empowerment, better project teams, and goal clarification, which in turn improve productivity and performance outcomes. Hence, the project organization of Pakistan is more likely to gain a highly competitive edge if a manager possesses qualities of coaching leadership, team communication, and team empowerment.
