The military strategy of the Prophetic era was founded on the principle of balance, enabling Muslims to confront superior forces and establish peace despite limited resources. This concept extended beyond weaponry and manpower, encompassing wisdom, discipline, morality, and divine guidance. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ demonstrated this balance through strategic formation at Badr, defensive consolidation after Uhud, innovative tactics in the Trench, and long-term diplomatic advantage at Hudaybiyyah. Rooted in reliance on Allah, prophetic foresight, the Companions’ obedience, intelligence networks, and ethical training, this balance exerted psychological pressure on enemies, enhanced Muslim strength, and culminated in the conquest of Makkah and the political stability of the Islamic state.
