This research is a critical study of Bapsi Sidhwa, The Crow Eaters, from the perspective of cultural materialism. The researcher has focused on the trends of cultural changes growing in contemporary society because of the change in social and political set up. It is averted that the impact of cultural collision on the character of Bapsi Sidhwa is a serious phenomenon. This research also shows how Jerbanoo uses cultural materialism as a source of means of production. The main objectives of this research are to explain the struggle of Jerbano to create problems for Freddy to take revenge for her migration to Lahore. In this study, the data has been collected from The Crow Eaters and analyzed qualitatively. The researcher finds that Jerbano loses her value in the eyes of her family because she loves money and a luxurious life. Jerbano ignores in every situation in life by her family, according to the researcher. She finds that money does not matter when it comes to social status.
