The present research discusses and analyzes the modules of impermanence, human existence and stream of consciousness in Idries Shah’s selected narratives. This study investigates fleeting nature of human, human struggles in inner self & outer world. In this study, terminologies stream of consciousness seeks to capture a character's thought process, his inner struggles and conflicts. It's more than just an internal monologue (Delf, 2019). Another term used in this research is "absurdity" that describes the representation of individuals, circumstances, or events that are ludicrous, unrealistic, or impossible (Rehmani, 2022). It is frequently employed as a tool to question conventional wisdom and investigate the meaning of life. The qualitative method is chosen for this research to acquire secondary information. The study has three steps. The first step in this research is to read the stories closely to understand the direction of humanity, elements of human existence, the impossibility of life and the perceptions of truth and pleasure. The second step is to analyze the terminologies used in the research like deception, human identity, human crisis, fleeting nature and impermanence. Findings indicate that although the stories in Shah's collection have their roots in Islamic (primarily Sufi) aestheticism, comparing them to European aesthetic ideals particularly those from 19th-century movements as if Aestheticism highlights important distinctions in the form and purpose.
