Mulla Feroz, who is known as Feroz Parsi, was born in India in 1182(1147ش) .He travelled Iran with his father at the age of 10 and returned at the age of 12 after completing his studies. Mulla Feroz had good relations with the British rulers in India. When Governor of Bombay Jonathan Dinkin suggested to compile the history of conquests & achievements of the British rulers in poetry. Mulla Feroz accepted the suggestion. He composed “George Nama” consisting of 40 thousand verses in his own poetic way. In this great poetic work of Mulla Feroz the circumstances & events of the British rulers are written down in three volumes.George Nama was 1st published in Bombay with the preface written by Mulla Feroz’s cousin Rustom Bin Qekobad. Mulla Feroz who died in 1245(1208ش) has written many other remarkable books. In this article introduction to George Nama & its overview is presented.
