Cucumber is important due to low calories and high water content to balance health. It’s a widely grown vegetable in Pakistan. However, its production is severely constrained by root knot nematodes (RKNs) disease. Survey was carried out in the tunnels from different locations of Balochistan province of Pakistan. The samples were collected on the basis of external symptoms with zizag smart sampling method. Disease incidence ranged from minimum 16% from district Mastung, 18% from district Quetta while maximum 30% from district Pishin. The maximum average of Gall Index 3.4 found from district Pishin sample while minimum from Quetta district as 2.6. The location-specific in time disease management strategies to each district`s severity level will help sustainable cucumber yield. The major Root Knot Nematode species that cause greater damage to cucumber, the only method to inhibit the disease is crop rotation and chemical controls to check its population.
