Wheat is the major staple food of the whole world. The present study aimed to identify genetic variation and potential genotypes under different doses of physical mutants as 100, 150, 200, and 250 GY. M4 generation of wheat genotypes was used for conducting an experiment at the experimental field of the Nuclear Institute of Agriculture (NIA), Tando Jam. The results showed that the mutant genotypes were significant at P<0.01 for almost all the traits viz. days to 75% heading, days to 75% maturity, peduncle length (cm), plant height (cm), spike length (cm), spikelet’s spike-1,grain, spike-1, grain yield plot1 (kg) , biological yield plot-1 (kg) seed index (1000 grain weight), harvest index (%). Under 100 GY minimum days to 75% maturity, were found with the variety V1-09-06 (119%), V3-09-09 (118.33%), short stature height V3-09-09 (117.93), more grains spike V3-09-09 (55.93), greater biological yield plant in V3-09-09 (2.026). Maximum peduncle length in the mutant V4-09-10 (42.00) and greater yield plant-1 showed maximum in the variety V3-09-09 (0.566). For the dose 150 GY maximum spike length was found in the mutant V1-09-06 (9.633), spikelets spike in V1-09-06 (23. 53), grains spike V1-09-06 (55.46), Grain yield plant was more in the variety V1-09-06 (0.593). Under 200 GY dose minimum days to 75% heading was observed in V4-09-10 (78%). Short stature height in V3-09-09 (111.60), spike length showed greater in V4-09-10 (9.667), grains spike in the variety V5-09-11 (57.33). Grain yield plant-1 with the variety V2-09-08 (0.640). Seed index was more in the variety V5-09-11 (38.01). With the dose 250 GY minimum days to 75% heading was observed in V4-09-10 (78%), minimum days to 75% maturity V1-09-06 (116.33), spike length maximum length in V3-09-09 (9.000), spikeletsspike greater in mutant V2-09-08 (24. 33). Grain yield with the variety V2-09-08 (0.523).Grain yield plot-1 revealed positive and highly significant correlation with plant height, grains spike-1, thousand-grain weight and biological yield plot-1 (r=0.211*)(r=0.254*)(r=0.186*)(r=0.230*).
