The research investigates how Cath functions as the leading role within the Rainbow Rowell novel Fangirl while emphasising this point. The previous articles explained why introversion exists in people, together with society’s common misinterpretation that quiet behaviour makes someone shy or lazy. The current research demonstrates how introverted individuals solve their problems, along with their responses in specific situations. The storyline of Cath reveals that introversion does not represent a form of weakness. Introduced research proves that being genuine to oneself leads to success for introverted people. Writing Simon Snow fanfiction serves Cath as an important mechanism to flee from her life difficulties. Through writing, Cath both communicates her emotions and meets fellow creative individuals who value her work. Writing enables Cath to develop awareness of her inner feelings, which builds up her self-esteem. The study examines how the relationships between Cath and others shape her personal development. The role Levi serves her is providing support without putting pressure on her. Due to his guidance, Cath develops both her writing talent and her ability to confront her fears while increasing her self-confidence.
