Abstract

Javelin throwing is a very difficult activity. Through the researcher's field experience as a teacher of the activity, he found that one of the problems facing university teachers is the poor learning of this activity due to its consistent pace, which discourages students from learning. Furthermore, due to the large number of students in a single class, teachers are unable to cover the material and find sufficient time to teach these skills individually. One of the most important reasons for not achieving the technical level of the javelin throw is the lack of skill and physical preparation, represented by physical abilities. This was demonstrated through observation. Therefore, the researcher decided to use the sequential and random methods to teach physical abilities and learn the javelin throw, and determine which is better for learning. This is to find the best learning methods that minimize effort and advance to a higher level, as well as achieve a qualitative shift in the training approach and the suitability of these exercises to keep pace with the scientific aspect. The research aims to:

Identify the effect of the sequential and random training methods on developing students' physical abilities and learning how to perform the javelin throw.
2. Identify the superiority of the two methods in developing students' physical abilities and learning how to perform the javelin throw. The most important conclusions are:
1. The educational approach using the sequential and random methods led to the development of students' physical abilities and learning how to effectively throw the javelin.
Sequential training had better results than random training in developing students' physical abilities and learning how to effectively throw the javelin.
3. Sequential training increased students' desire and excitement, which contributed to their development and learning.
