This research seeks to establish the relationship between length and weight of the stripped snakehead Channa striata, collected from the Keenjhar Lake, Sindh.  A total of 120 fish specimens were collected, and the length-weight relationship was analyzed using the equation Log a + b × Log L. The results indicated a negative allometric growth pattern in the length-weight relationship for males, females, and the combined sexes. The length-weight equations were determined individually for males, females, and the combined sexes. These were, Log W = 2.180 - 0.581 × Log L for males, 2.083 - 0.394 × Log L for females, and Log W = 2.120 - 0.465 × Log L for the combined Sex. The Length-Weight relationship of the experimental fish reveals that the growth of fish in Keenjhar Lake is not satisfactory. It will be important to investigate several factors which are causing such diminishing length-weight ratios. Specifically, any disease or parasitic prevalence, nutritional deficiencies and the environmental stressors to understand the origin of the problem.
